There , he found that ozone layer has decreased more , he was shocked, and thought it was a emergency situation, and he took his evidence and went to nasa , and soon the world knows about the hole , in ozone, over Antarctica, nasa checked its data from 1979 to 1984 he found that from normal, it has become a hole in ozone layer, the world was shocked with this , and if ozone layer keep on decreasing every year , it will become a serious calamity over the world, if the ozone is destroyed, earth will be finished, it was predicted that if in this rate , ozone layer keeps on decreasing, till 2050 it will end ,

Actually, some chemicals in shaving cream , and the chemicals that were used in fridge, as solvent , these chemicals are called as (CFCs) were harming ozone layer , actually at that time (CFCs) were commonly used , because chrloine in this chemical was reacting to ozone layer, but the scientists think it will decrease, 2-5% of ozone till 2099 , then comes this incident of Joseph faraman measurements, and the scientists found their theory was wrong, and it is a alarming situation, then after this a united nation treaty was created, to ban (CFCs) immediately and all countries signed the treaty, and then (CFCs) were replaced by (HFCs) hydrochlorocarbons , 99% (CFCs) was eliminated by world, it was the greatest achievement of world environment, and now we are seeing the positive results that ozone hole is getting smaller , and scientists predict that in next 40 years ozone layer will be back to normal and in 2040 , it will come to level of 1980 again
