Oral rehydration therapy, is a type of fluid, replacement used to prevent and treat dehydration, it involves, drinking water with modest amounts of sugar and salts , specifically sodium and potassium, ors can be obtained from UNICEF in packets, or can be made locally, they should contain, sodium chloride (3.5 gm) potassium chloride (1.5gm) and glucose monohydrate (22gm) made upto 1 L of potable water , (sucrose , 40 gm may replace glucose, and trisodium citrate dehydrate , 2.9 g sodium bicarbonate) source (google)
