23 august 2023 , when moon lander Vikram landed on moon was a historic, day for the world
From that time , all world was waiting, when pragyan rover will come out of Vikram lander
Pragyan didn’t come out immediately, because of the moon soil , which was spreaded on moon surface due to landing, time required for it to settle down , so after 4 hours it came out
It took high quality pictures of moon , in which we can see lander and rover ,
Now it will take a look of moon , and do it’s scientific experiments and research on moon for 14 days ( one Lunar day ) it has solar panel on it , by which it will get solar energy to work
Already , Chandrayaan 1 has discovered water molecules on moon , so on the South Pole , the dark side , scientists are confident that there can be water there , so it will search water
And the interesting thing in this mission is that the orbiter in Chandrayaan 3 will do research on earth from the moon orbit

The propulsion model of moon orbiter name is shape , which work is to measure the specto graph coming from the earth, it’s main purpose is to identify the specto graph , by which can check thousands of planets discovered in the habitable zone by this specto graph of earth ( means , the spectrum coming out of these habitable planets to match with earth spectrum, amazing isn’t it)
It will help in discovering, the life on other planets and alien life
The Vikram lander has 4 payloads , first is rambha -Lp , which measures the density of near surface plasma, and monitor its variations in time
No 2 is chaste , it’s work is to measure thermal conductivity and temperature , Vikram lander drills the moon surface and it is deployed in it , it is like the thermometer of moon
When it goes down just 80 mm in moon surface, the temperature which was 50 degrees on moon surface, suddenly falls to -10 degree in just 80 mm , it will help in detecting water ice beneath the moon surface
No 3 is ILSA – it’s work is to measure sesimicity on moon , to estimate the plasma density and it’s variations, but you will ask why this is needed , because moon has no tectonic movement, moon has no tectonic movement, but moon has quakes , which is called moon quakes so to measure this movement, it will be used
By this we can know the internal structure of the moon
No 4 is LRA – it is designed to facilitate, real time distance measurements, between the moon and earth

That’s exciting!
