Bill gates , the owner of Microsoft, is a very hard working and talented men , very few people has achieved the success like bill gates

In 1967 , Seattle Washington, an eighth grader bill gets a hold of a computer

This was not the computer we know now , it was the teletype model 33 ASR of the time , connected through phone lines to the computers of the General Electric company , but this surprised bill , of the possibilities of a computer , bill started spending hours on this computer

He developed his first computer program on the computer, and if we fast forward it to some times later , bill gates becomes the world richest man

At 12 years of age , bill gates was studying in the lakeside school , at school he had some friends, who were equally passionate about computers

Kent evans , bill gates first best friend, Paul Allen who was a tenth grader and Rick willand , they four , started the lake side programmer group

He tried to come up with the ways to use computer, outside school also, in Seattle, there was a small company, called computer centre corporation , they rented out computer to people for a hour , a year later in 1968 , bill and his friends starting to visit this store to use the computers

But to do this , the cost was too high, they charged $40 for an hour, so bill and his friends started looking for bugs , in the operating system of CCC , they found the loopholes in the system , and tried to exploit more time on system

When they were caught, they were banned by the store, but next summer , the small company thought , why don’t we use this children’s to find the bugs in the system

They said that these children can use the computer for free , if they identify the problems in the system , here bill gates learned several programming languages , fortran , lisp , but soon this small business , went out of the business

Again this kids , were left with no means to access the computer , then they founded a company in Portland called information sciences , this company allowed them to use the computers free too, as long as they wrote a program for the company , it was a payroll program , it allowed them to learn about taxes and payrolls

By that time, the school has also recognised their talents

And so , in 1971 , bill gates and his friends were told , to write a program for the school , to make class schedules for the school , they worked hard on the program , but on one weekend, Kent went on a holiday on the hills , but unfortunately he died falling from a cliff, this incident shocked bill , but he didn’t stop working, he continue work with Paul Allen

In 1972 , they both founded their first company, Traf O data , they were interested in technology and business both, they wanted to build a program , that would help in traffic control , and they could sell it to the traffic department , though they worked hard , but it was not successful

Next year 1973, bill gates graduated from high school , he takes SAT exam and scores extremely well 1590 out of 1600 , with this he got admission in Harvard
