NASA’s New Horizons became the first spacecraft to visit dwarf planet Pluto in July 2015. The far-traveling spacecraft also visited a distant Kuiper Belt object Ultima Thule (2014 MU69) – now called Arrokoth – in January 2019. New Horizons is still exploring our solar system and on April 17, 2021, the spacecraft reached a distance of 50 astronomical units (AU) from the sun
New horizon not only studied Pluto , but also studied its moon Charon , first it was believed that Pluto is only a ice globe , which has nothing to discover, but after new horizon mission, scientists came to know that Pluto is a living planet and very attractive to discover, by studying Pluto, we can discover distant planets size , which are very far away from our solar system,
Pluto has a heart which controls the activities of Pluto , actually when new horizon was near Pluto, and taking HD pictures, it saw a million sq kilometres nitrogen glacier, you must have seen glacier on the mountains, this is a ice group, which slowly comes down, Pluto glacier left side is called Sputnik plantia, by its pressure, the dwarf planet has completely changed its side , that’s why this glacier is lying just opposite to its moon Charon
This process is known as true polar wander, by this process, Pluto spin axis has changed , that’s why the nitrogen glacier is known as the heart of Pluto

New horizon latest data says, that there is in the basin , there is a heavy mass , which has helped in arranging its position, scientists believe that’s it’s a water ocean, this is a big discovery, and it puts Pluto in the category of Jupiter moon Europa , it’s a ocean world , Pluto tectonic plates were also studied, and they also gives proof that in the crust of Pluto their is a ocean
