How old is our solar system how it was formed

Sun and planets revolving around it makes our solar system, it has sun and 8 planets,

The planets are earth , Venus , mercury, mars , Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus

The scientists has different opinions on the formation of solar system

Our solar system comes into origin around 4.6 billions years ago

Nicholas Copernicus founded the solar system in 1543 , and he founded sun was the center of solar system not earth

After Big Bang , dust and gas particles start floating in the universe, and formed a big Gaseous cloud

This cloud is called nebula,

This Gaseous clouds due to gravitational force start to fall apart

Due to gravitational pull , it’s most part starting to pull towards its centre , and accumulate in the centre

Due to nuclear fusion, in the centre temperature start to rise very high , and sun was born

Formation. Our solar system formed about 4.5 billion years ago from a dense cloud of interstellar gas and dust. The cloud collapsed, possibly due to the shockwave of a nearby exploding star, called a supernova. When this dust cloud collapsed, it formed a solar nebula – spinning, swirling disk of material.

How are planets formed step by step

Scientists think planets, including the ones in our solar system, likely start off as grains of dust smaller than the width of a human hair. They emerge from the giant, donut-shaped disk of gas and dust that circles young stars. Gravity and other forces cause material within the disk to collide

How did gravity create the planets

Nearly all of the matter from the original cloud of dust was pulled into the Sun, the biggest, most massive object in our solar system. Eventually, the leftover bits of material like rocks and ice collided and began to clump together, drawn by gravitational pull between them. Slowly these became the planets.
