Devil comet with horns and ice volcano to light up the earth skies :twice the size of Everest it is

The “Devil Comet” is a comet named Pons-Brooks that will be visible in Earth’s skies in mid-April 2024. It’s twice the size of Mount Everest and has an active ice volcano. 

The comet has a cycle of approximately 71 years. It will be positioned about 232 million kilometers (144,158,116 miles) away from Earth. It may be bright enough to see with the naked eye or binoculars. 

The comet was nicknamed the “Devil Comet” because of its unusual horned shape during an outburst in July. The eruption of the volcano caused the comet to emit a cloud of gas and ice that appeared like a gigantic pair of horns. The irregular shape of the comet obstructed the pressure buildup, causing the appearance of “horns”. 

The comet’s brightness is predicted to peak in April 2024. Scientists are still questioning the trigger for the explosion of this 19.4-mile comet.

Comets look like fuzzy structures in the sky that are much larger than stars. They can appear as a faint greenish blob, resembling a galaxy. A comet’s tail can be much longer than its coma, which is usually about the size of a small coin held at arm’s length or smaller. 

Comets are often marked by a distinct greenish-blue haze. They can be easy to spot with binoculars, and potentially even visible to the naked eye in dark skies. 

Comets originate in the Oort Cloud, where they look like big, dirty, irregular snowballs. They orbit way out past Pluto in the Kuiper Belt or the Oort Cloud
