Pizza galleria owner story (very inspiring story)

Positive story – Business worth Rs 25 crore by selling pizza: I was useless, worked in a factory, left a job worth Rs 9 thousand

I was labeled a failure. Family members and relatives all said that he would not be able to do anything. Earlier I was doing B.Tech but could not do it either

Couldn’t become an engineer…bad luck in job too, then came the idea and today is the owner of this pizza company

32-year-old Sandeep Jangra’s company ‘Pizza Galleria’, which was recently seen in the famous TV reality show ‘Shark Tank’, is ahead of brands like Domino’s in many cities of the country. The net worth of his company, which was started in 2015, is Rs 50 crore today. But the journey till here has not been so easy for Sandeep, the owner of this pizza company.

A common boy from Kathmandu, from the small town of Gohana in Haryana, had dreamed of doing something big. According to Sandeep, after completing his schooling from Gohana, his father got him admitted in B.Tech in the year 2009. He got admission but failed in B.Tech. Now he did not have the courage to tell this to his family because he comes from a lower middle class family. Where his father had spent a lot of money on his education. Therefore, by lying at home that he had completed his degree, he somehow managed to get a job in a private company.

I ate my first pizza after traveling to the country.
According to Sandeep, while working, on the occasion of New Year in 2015, he and his friends shared money among themselves and ate pizza for the first time in Gurgaon. After eating a large size pizza costing around Rs 600, I felt that this thing is good, but it is just a roti with vegetables, chutney and butter on it

According to Sandeep, his salary in his first job was Rs 9,200 and the rent for his room was Rs 10,000. Had to live in a small room with three other people. All the monthly expenses had to be met from this salary, so pizza could be eaten only by exchanging money. Describing his experience of eating pizza for the first time, Sandeep says that for many people the price of pizza does not seem like a big deal, but for me and my friends it was no less than a festival.

When Sandeep returned home after leaving his job
Sandeep got a job at a basic salary, but he was still dreaming of doing something different and bigger. He always wanted to start his own business, which was a distant dream at that time. At present he wanted to change his current job. That too was not possible due to not completing B.Tech. Gathering courage he returned home. Due to which his father became very angry. Your father said that neither did you complete your degree, you have already incurred expenses of Rs 10 lakh and on top of that you have also left your job. Sandeep convinced his father a lot to start the shop. After this Sandeep opened a hardware shop.

Sandeep was also not liking the work of his new shop. He thought of many business ideas. At the same time, the taste of ‘Country’ pizza had not gone out of his mind till now. When he mustered up the courage to ask his father for money to learn how to make pizza, he got a flat answer – ‘Nothing can be done by you, you have to harm me like this, you have to make me crazy like this.’

However, they did not stop. He also asked about taking franchise from many companies. But there was only disappointment. He also had to go to Alwar to learn how to make pizza. For which a fee of Rs 1.5 lakh had to be arranged. His father gave up, but his mother gave him all her savings.

First store opened in Gohna
Sandeep learned to make pizza, but about Rs 7 lakh was required to open the first store. There also his friends supported him. His brother also gave him his saved Rs 3 lakh. On 25 December 2015, he opened his first store in Gohana and named it – ‘Pizza Galleria’.

According to Sandeep, his only objective was to feed fresh pizza to the people of Gohana, which the people there were not getting. In such a situation, I had to become their Domino’s, their Pizza Hut.

Father’s perspective changed after seeing his son’s hard work
At first Sandeep’s father did not support him. But, when he saw his son working hard, he also started supporting him. Sandeep tells that one day his father asked him how and when will your company be formed? Without any information, he said that the day we have 10 stores, our company will be formed.

Father could not see son’s company being formed
By giving the figure of 10 stores to his father, Sandeep reached that milestone in the beginning of 2019. But, his father died in 2017 itself. Father’s departure like this became the cause of many problems for Sandeep. This incident broke him. He was not able to understand whether to do his own work or manage his father’s shop. In this problem, Sandeep’s mother, who has studied only till eighth standard, supported him and said that he should follow his passion. I will take care of father’s shop.

Today ‘Pizza-Galleria’ is providing employment to many people.
There is no debt on ‘Pizza Galleria’ company with a net worth of Rs 50 crore. Also, approximately 250-300 people are getting employment through this. His company, which has traveled from a small town like Gohana to a metropolis like Delhi, has 32 stores today. Of which 18 are own, 4 are Foco (Franchise Owned Company Operated) models and 10 are outlet franchises. After Shark Tank, he has made a deal with 12 franchises for cities like Kaithal, Ambala, Delhi, Faridabad.

Sandeep was scared after seeing the cameras in ‘Shark Tank’
Sandeep tells that he had tried to go to ‘Shark Tank’ twice before also. Once I got rejected at the door and had to return. And when I reached there, I got scared just after seeing the camera. But there was a lot to learn from there. According to Sandeep, I may not have got funding from ‘Shark Tank’, but I made Gohana and Haryana proud. I have received a lot of blessings for this. I want to make ‘Pizza Galleria’ India’s number-1 veg pizza brand.

The success story of Pizza Galleria is a testament to the power of passion, hard work, and dedication to excellence. Sandeep Jangra and Ishan Chugh, the founders of Pizza Galleria, have made the business thrive with a loyal customer base and a reputation for excellence in the food industry
