What are the seven laws of the Spirit World?
The work is divided into seven section, one chapter for each of the seven spiritual laws of success: The Law of Pure Potentiality, The Law of Giving and Receiving, The Law of Karma, The Law of Least Effort, The Law of Intention and Desire, The Law of Detachment, and The Law of Dharma
What does the soul feel after death?
At death, you forget all the limitations of the physical body and realize how free you are. For the first few seconds there is a sense of fear — fear of the unknown, of something unfamiliar to the consciousness. But after that comes a great realization: the soul feels a joyous sense of relief and freedom
So the book in the beginning is a little too repetitive in terms of the concept explanation of the 7 realms and it is simplied way too much into good and bad deeds. However, the Q & A part is better and easy to understand. The knowledge contained in the book is nothing substantially new but rather something all of us have always been taught since childhood – As you sow, so shall your reap. However, there are some interesting concepts that I learnt such as the Akashic records which records each and every action, thought, memory of an individual; Twin souls which means that the soul is split into two parts and does not mean soul mates; Walk ins when the going gets tough, there is a possibility that some other soul from the spirit world may take our body and we get to stay in the spirit world; though its very rare and that you decide your parents as well as your death date. Some of the quotes from the book that really stayed with me are:
(1) Hope is a beautiful thing and it must be kept alive but expectation is a demand that comes from your ego;
(2) It is okay to ask questions on the spiritual path but replace your doubt with faith. Trust your spirit guides (Also from the moment you’re born until you die; you have been designated with one spirit guide who guides you through the complete process of life. That means someone is always watching at you!!);
(3) Sometimes something that is taken away from you is a greater gift than something that is given to you;
(4) You are on earth to coexist and not handle everything on your own;
(5) Pain can be triggered by someone else only if it already exists within you. (Life changing);
(6) When you constantly compare your journey with someone else’s, it holds you back;
(7) A very basic test given to most people is whether they can stay positive in a tough situation;
(8) Negative thoughts come only from the physical mind. The subconscious mind, even in the most trying of circumstances, will see things in a positive light;
(9) To be positive means to understand the higher nature of things;
(10)Derive strength from the fact that your spirit guides are still with you and can guide you if you let them;
(11) Positivity is a choice no matter what the situation;
(12)Success or failure depends on the strength of your choices;
(13)DO NOT be of the view that you are on Earth to suffer. Yes, your debts have to be paid off, but your earthly journey should be joyous. So lighten up. Have a sense of humour and again balance is the key;
(14)Expectations create anxiety because they build unnecessary pressure;
(15) Nature is a reflection of human beings. It shows what is within you.
Normally spiritual advice and wisdom come to us through scriptures, Gurus and Avatars. What if spiritual guidance on rightful living comes to us from the spirit world itself, through departed souls who live in higher realms of life?
That’s precisely what this book “The laws of the spirit world” purportedly offers.
It all happened after the gory death of two smart young men (by name Vispi and Ratoo) as a consequence of an automobile accident that they met with in the year 1985. The peaceful and happy life of Khorshed Bhavanagri and Rumi Bhavnagri, the parents of Vispi and Ratoo (who were living in Mumbai) got shattered overnight due to the accidental death of their beloved sons . The Bhavnagris were thrown into inconsolable sorrow and depression. The departed souls of Vispi and Ratoo could not bear watching from their abode in the spirit world the pain and mental suffering that their most loved parents were undergoing; they wanted to help them; . Through the help of a medium, they reached out to their parents.
Over time, Khorshed Bhavanagri learned the skill of communicating to the spirit world as a medium herself and she started regularly communicating with the souls of her children. She acquired the skill of Auto-writing (whereby the spirits dictate their messages and the medium writes down in a state of trance – and it could be in a language to totally unknown to the medium – in this case, in English that Bhavnagri didn’t know) .
It is in this way, that Vispi and Ratoo reportedly opened out the facts and realities about the spirit world, the different realms of existence of the souls there, how sinful souls have to undergo painful living at lower realms and good souls can enjoy “heavenly” bliss, the confirmation and validity of rebirth, the laws of Karma, the purpose of human birth in this world, the existence of God, the need for morality in life and so on. Bhavnagri’s auto-written notes came out in the form of this book after her death.
What is curiously interesting in this book is the description of the spirit world unfolded to us by (the souls of) Vispy and Ratoo. According to them, there exists 7 realms of life in the spirit world. While level 4 is the medium level where good and bad, dark and light co-exist (almost like our world), level 1 to 3 are darker worlds where sinners undergo punishment ; level 5 to 7 are holier worlds where good souls reap their rewards of leading a morally enriched worldly life through varying degrees of bliss and tranquility.
According to them, the goal of each soul is to raise from its existing ( lower ) realms to higher realms through acts of goodness, positive efforts, developing morally right behavior and then getting liberation once for all (free from birth and death) by transcending level 7. This process is reportedly very slow; the way to quicken is to take birth on this earth, which is truly a Karma Bhoomi (world to exhaust karma by indulging in it) . The souls can reportedly take the option of getting a re-birth in this world to parents of their choice. Once taken birth, they do not remember about their past, but their past memories are stored deep in their sub-conscious mind.
Realms:
There are 7 realms in the spirit world numbered 1 to 7:
Realm 1 being the darkest realm where all the people with bad karma exist. It is basically what we normally call hell on Earth. Although it is actually not called hell, it is similar. The bodies there are heavy and disfigured.
Realm 2 being a dark but a little better compared to Realm 1. there is no light.
Realm 3 being still better and it increases this way.
Realm 4 is more or less like earth. a human starts his life journey in realm 4 and it’s his good deeds or bad deeds on earth that decide whether he’ll be lifted to upper realms or he’ll go to lower realms after he dies.
Realm 5 is the beginning of heaven. It is a beautiful place. Bodies here are lighter.
Realm 6 and 7 are higher realms. Noble people who have control over their minds and are peaceful are in realm 6 or 7. The bodies are feather light and are purified souls.
Who are we and why are we here?
We have come to Earth just to purify our souls and reach higher realms.
We are not our body, our body is just a vehicle that we (soul) use to exist in physical world and it is completely our free will to do good deeds or bad deeds.
There are three types of bodies that we have: Physical body, astral body and spirit.
Astral bodies are normally what we believe are ghosts. They exist and those are negative souls that just want to do harm to people. As soon as we die, we become astral body and then we become spirit body.
Our real home is in the spirit world. We come here just to experience physical world and it is a test for our soul.
You sow what you reap.
Most people including me refuse to believe that there’s life after death. But after reading these books, I’m slowly realizing what this is all about. I just analyzed everything that has happened to me in the past and now it all has began to make sense. It’s all a test of god to see what path you choose on Earth.
Our subconscious mind works perfectly in realm 5 and above but in realm 4, it’s upto us what path we choose. If we listen to our subconscious mind, it strengthens.
If we do good deeds while we’re on earth, our subconscious mind take us to higher realms where there is only happiness and light. If we choose to shut our subconscious mind and become a slave to physical mind, we go to lower realms to suffer.
The suffering in those realms is worse than suffering on Earth.
Purpose of Birth.
The purpose of our birth is to do three things:
- to protect our loved ones from our past lives
- to finish the karma left from our previous lives
- to complete our spiritual mission
Every one on this planet has a spiritual mission to complete. As we grow older and our subconscious mind gets dormant, we forget our spiritual mission. Therefore, we should do what we love, what our passion is. That’s what we are meant for.
What do I do to rise higher?
Do good deeds.
What are good deeds?
Things that are done selflessly without any expectations of anything in return. Helping an old lady cross the road is a selfless deed. You help her to help her and not so that you benefit anything from it.
Helping anyone selflessly becomes a good deed as long as you don’t feel proud about helping someone and go around telling it.
Revenge is bad, so is ego. Never think about revenge if somebody has harmed you in any way. Just forgive and forget. Everyone pays for their sins. You don’t have to put your energy into it. Besides, if you’re being hurt by someone, you’re just paying for your past sins. So just take it positively and leave it there.
