That means, if seen as a bungalow, it will be a big space station but not as tall and wide as the International Space Station, which is 109 meters long and 75 meters wide.
Question – How much will it weigh? – The weight of this space station will be 52 tons. It will be installed 400 kilometers above the Earth’s lower orbit. Its design will be such that 3 to 4 astronauts can live comfortably in it for three to six months. The current International Space Station is also roaming in low orbit about 400 km above the Earth. It has many types of research facilities and living quarters.
This will happen in which intensive scientific research can be done in microgravity conditions. This will increase India’s space related exploration and scientific contribution capabilities. Medical Bay – This will be a small medical facility, which will contain items and equipment for basic healthcare needs. Storage Area – This will house instruments, supplies and scientific equipment. Life Support System – Here will be air and water recycling, waste management and There will be an environment control system

Besides, information about the position and functioning of the spacecraft is also available from the antenna. NASA also sends instructions to the spacecraft through DSN.
Question – Apart from this, what other technologies and facilities are added to the space station? – BAS will use solar panels to generate electricity. The main energy sources of the International Space Station (ISS) are solar energy (from the Sun’s rays) and batteries. India will also do the same thing.
