Mars had no large satellites like the Moon, which reduced the initial turbulence on its surface and gave more time for life to flourish. Since the gravitational force of Mars is less than that of Earth, when a meteorite hit the surface of Mars, the pieces of rocks from there were easily scattered into space and spread throughout the solar system

So are we all descendants of Mars?
Hundreds of Martian meteorites have been found on Earth so far, which prove that the rocks of Mars have reached our Earth at some point or the other. If the panspermia theory is correct, it could mean that the true roots of life on Earth were in Mars. However, research on this is still going on, but if solid evidence is found on this in the future, it can completely change the way we look at the universe
